Sam Clark, born Samuel James Clark, won his role on "Neighbours" (1985) after winning an Australia wide search run by Dolly Magazine and Network Ten. He began filming in September 2006 and remained a main cast member of the show for close to four years. Originally from Adelaide, South Australia, he was a keen participant in school productions, but was set to study Law in his hometown before moving to Melbourne to pursue and acting career. Sam is also a keen musician and more recently he has made the transition to film in PJ Hogan's Mental (2012) where both his music (songwriting and performing) and acting are featured. As of late 2013 he is calling Los Angeles, CA his home while continuing to make annual trips to the UK to tour with his music.
